How do I get there?
Kosmos is right in the middle of the San Luis Valley of Colorado - 22 minutes away from the city of Alamosa and their airport, 3.5 hours away from Denver or Alburquerque, 15 minutes away from the Great Sand Dunes National Park, 60 minutes from the nearest sky mountain.
Why stargaze here?
We are located at 8,000 feet of altitude near one of the largest Dark Sky Preserves, the Great Sand Dunes National Park. With zero light pollution, elevation, and more than 300 sunny days a year (no clouds). This is the perfect place to stargaze.
When will it be ready?
We are set to start construction by February 2024, and plan on having our soft opening welcoming our first guests this Fall 2024! The full resort including amenities, planetarium, and all 20 villas will be completed in 2025.
With only 20 villas, we have limited availability for 'early-access' reservations. Ensure you're on our list so you don't miss out!
